The LANGE 1 TOURBILLON EWIGER CALENDAR combines two classic complications with the striking design of the most famous watch family by A. Lange & Söhne. The calendar with the circulating monthly ring, arranged out of the time display, allows you to record all the time and date information at a glance. All the ads of the perpetual calendar are jumping on. The date, the weekday, the month, the leap year and the moon phase can be clearly read at any time. The mechanism is designed in such a way that it has to be switched by one day only in 2100. And the lunar-phase display requires a continuous scan after 122.6 years of correction by one day.
Despite the multiplicity of information, the dial is so tidy that the technical complexity of this watchmaker's opus magnum only opens up on closer inspection. Only a decent lettering below 12 points to the tourbillon. Looking through the sapphire glass floor, it can be seen in all its technical perfection. The patented second-stop mechanism ensures that the balance inside the Tourbillon cage stops instantly when the crown is pulled. This allows the watch to be adjusted to the second. The upper part of the tourbillon cage with a black polish was the most demanding and time-intensive type of craftsmanship. The storage of the tourbillon cage features a diamond cap - a reminiscence of the historical 1 pocket watches of the traditionally rich brand A. Lange & Söhne.
The L082.1 automatic calibrator is equipped with a massive central rotor with an average segment of 21 karat gold. A platinum flywheel at the outer rotor edge provides extra torque for the operation, so that the maximum gear reserve of 50 hours is available after a short wearing time. The long-typical quality characteristics include the elaborately hand-decorated work with hand-engraved tourbillon and intermediate wheel clamps as well as six bolted gold chelons.
